will be conducted by mail in ballot. |

The mail in ballot election will be conducted on
Tuesday
May 20, 2008
The ballots will be picked up on May 19, 2008 at 5:00pm and will be
counted on May 20, 2008. |

Ballots were mailed out Friday April 18,
2008 to all eligible journeymen. |
| |
Ballots must be received no later than
5:00pm Monday - May 19, 2007. |
| |
Ballots must be mailed,
NOT dropped off at the Union Hall. |

Texas Air Conditioning Tech. &
Assistant Registeration |
| |
The Texas Department of
Licensing and Regulation
(TDLR)
is now accepting applications for Air Conditioning Technicians. |
| |
You can apply online by
clicking here. |
| |
The law states that any person who assists a
licensed air conditioning
and refrigeration contractor in performing air conditioning and
refrigeration maintenance work must register. If you are working as an
Air Conditioning Technician, you need to register with TDLR and you can
do so today by applying online. |
| |
The only requirements for registering are
submitting a completed
application online and paying the required $20 fee. |
| |
All Air Conditioning Technicians
have until
June 30, 2008 to register.
If you choose to add a certification to your registration, you may do so
but that is not required by law. A certification may be added for an
additional fee of $15. You may be eligible for certification if you
have passed any of the following exams: |

NATE (North American Technician Excellence)
RSES CM and CMS
Refrigeration Service Engineers Society HVAC EXCELLENCE
ICC- International Code Council
IAPMO- International Association Plumbing and Mechanical Officials UA -
Star HVAC Certification TSTC, HVAC Everest Institute, HVAC |

Bike run will begin at 9:30 am on May, 18
2008 starting in Pojoaque at the Pueblo Wellness Center and
ending at 5:00 pm in Taos at Kit Carson Park. |

food, entertainment, prizes, and great fun. |
