* Foreman’s wages are $1.50 above Journeyman's rate when supervising a crew of seven   (7) U.A. members or less to include Foreman.

   

* Foreman’s wages are $2.00 above Journeyman’s rate when supervising a crew of more than seven (7) U.A. members.

 
 

* General Foreman's wages are $3.00 above Journeyman's wages.

 
 

* The fringes for Foreman and General Foreman are the same as Journeyman's.

 
     
 

These wages and fringes are good until 03/31/2010 unless otherwise notified.

 
   
  • Specific area wage shall be $0.80 above standard wage.  The Specific area wage rate shall apply to all federally funded Davis-Bacon Projects coming under the jurisdiction of the Union in the following areas and/or job sites at Los Alamos National Laboratories, South Mesa, and McGregor Range, White Sands Missile Range and/or proving grounds.
 
     
 

1.  $ .35 p/hr. deductions on Journeymen for Marketing.

 
 

2.  2.5 % of gross wages for working assessment. (All employees)

 
 

3.  $8.00 each pay period for dues, if employee elects payroll deduction.

 
 

4.  $2.00 each pay period for death benefit, if employee elects payroll deduction.

 
     
 

Note 1:

 
  The $0.10 per hour contribution for the ITF (International Training Fund) is to be  
  reported with and remitted with the National Pension Fund  
     
  Note 2:  
  The Intermediate Journeyman shall be used for Building Trades private work only and  
  shall not be utilized on State or Federal Public Works projects.  
     
 

Dues & Assessments 2008

 
  Journeyman Dues - $32 per month  
  Apprentice Dues - $26 per month  
  Market Recovery Journeymam - $0.35 per hours worked  
  Market Recovery Apprentices 3 to 5.5 years - $0.20  
  Death Assessments - $4.00 per death  
  Work Assessments - 2.5% of Gross Wages.

3.  $0.20 per hour deduction for 3rd, 4th, & 5th year Service Apprentice and              Tradesman for Marketing

 
 

4.  $8.00 each pay period for Service Journeyman dues, if employee elects payroll  deduction

 
 

5.  $7.25 each pay period for Serviceman dues, if employee elects payroll deduction

 
 

6.  $6.50 each pay period for Service Apprentice dues, if employee elects payroll deduction

 
 

7.  $6.00 each pay period for Tradesman dues, if employee elects payroll deduction

(Effective April 2008)

 
 

The jurisdiction of the Union will consist of the following zones: (Excluding Specific Wage Area)

 
 

Zone 1, Zone 2

 
 

Employees may be dispatched to a job in any zone by the Union or reassigned by the Employer.

 
     
 

Zone 1 will be described as:

 
 

(a) Any area within an Employer’s home zone. An Employer’s home zone will consist of a 90 mile radius from the main post office in the municipality of the Employer’s primary place of business or bona fide branch offices.

 
     
 

(b) A contractor whose primary place of business is located outside of the jurisdiction of the Local Union, 90 mile radius will be from the main post office in Albuquerque.

 
     
 

Zone 2 will be described as:

 
 

(a) Any area outside the Employers home zone, as described in Section 6.2 (a) of this Article.

 
     
 

(b) $20.00 subsistence per day will be paid to each employee assigned or working a job in Zone 2.
